IAS officer Sanjay Dixit has been elected as the new president of Rajasthan Cricket Association in Jaipur beating its former president Lalit Modi by five votes, Lalit Modi got 13 while Sanjay Dixit got 18 votes. The election was preceded by various controversies and lobbying. Lalit Modi accepting his defeat said that he lost due his proximity to former CM Vasundhara Raje.Sanjay Dixit who is also presently SECRETARY TO GOVERNMENT, HORTICULTURE DEPARTMENT, RAJSATHAN in his first speech says that his first priority is to curb corruption in RCA
